Support Qortal

Qortal Donations

The concept of donation subscriptions, was initiated to ensure that the development of the Qortal Project provides as many avenues as possible for the community to support development financially.

Qortal has progressed significantly since its Genesis in 2020, and is now to a point that it is capable of replacing a large majority of the functionality of ‘The Internet’ . Supporting the Qortal Project by way of a monthly (or one-time) contribution, means supporting a free and individually sovereign digital future, enacted in a completely P2P fashion. Removing unnecessary middlemen, fees, and data harvesting from the scenario entirely.

Crowetic Hardware Development supports the Qortal Project by way of nearly 1000 dollars a month in hosted infrastructure, hosted in top notch data centers all over the world.

CHD provides many of the hosted-access services for the Qortal Community completely free of charge. Your donations here will go toward supporting and expanding/updating/maintaining those services, with any remaining balance being directly donated to the Qortal Development Group.

Qortal Services Provided by CHD
Hosted Interfaces

http://hub.qortal.linkA Hosted-access version of Qortal Hub for desktop machines. Allowing a no-installation-required access point to leverage full Qortal functionality and services.

https://go.qortal.linkA hosted-access version of Qortal Go, allowing the same as the hosted version of Qortal Hub, but for MOBILE users. Both of the above services can be installed as ‘PWAs’ or Progressive Web Applications, allowing them to ‘appear as a separate app’ on the device with no installation.

Ultimately both of these access points will be converged into a single access point that will re-direct to the desktop/mobile version based on the ‘user agent’ of the accessing device.

Community Nodes (8+) – node.qortal.org through node8.qortal.org (and more coming).

Public API – https://api.qortal.orgA publicly accessible api node with 6 actual nodes behind it, load-balanced with an HAproxy load balancer. This allows external services (such as coinmarketcap, etc.) to access the Qortal API, along with allowing links to API calls to be provided to people on the internet, and external services built in the future to obtain data from the Qortal Blockchain/Network.

‘Public Node’ – The public node is also a load-balanced node cluster that is leveraged by the primary Qortal Trifecta interfaces as a method to connect to the Qortal Network without requiring the user to install the Qortal Core on their local machine (or any computer they control) initially. This allows users to ‘install and use’ Qortal without having to worry about the core until they are more interested in the project. This again has 6 actual nodes behind an HAproxy load-balanced entry point, and more nodes are being added, along with an additional entry point in the future.

The ‘Bootstrap Cluster’ – https://bootstrap.qortal.org through https://bootstrap4.qortal.org are 4 nodes setup specifically to automatically create, verify, and maintain ‘bootstraps’ of the Qortal Blockchain ‘db’, allowing nodes to obtain and leverage this bootstrap of the chain as opposed to requiring a full synchronization from Genesis every new installation. These nodes are automated with scripts written by Cal and crowetic, that verify whichever node created the latest bootstrap is indeed the latest, then copies it to each of the 4 entry points.

Soon, the bootstraps themselves will be published to QDN, but even after that, there will still be required a set of nodes CREATING the bootstraps. This is what the bootstrap cluster accomplishes.

Public ‘Gateway Nodes’ – The public gateway nodes are nodes that allow access to websites and Q-Apps published to QDN in read-only mode. This allows things like sharing Q-Tube videos on the internet, or accessing Qortal hosted websites via internet-accessible links. ( https://qortal.link/APP/Q-Tube/channel/crowetic). The two primary gateway nodes on qortal.link and qortal.name are managed by CHD.

Many additional services not listed here, and a continually advancing array of improvements, features, and options are hosted by CHD without charge for the Qortal Community. Any support by way of these donations is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Qortal Donation Subscriptions

The subscription packages below are DONATION subscriptions that will be given 100% to Qortal development directly. Either by being converted to LTC then buying QORT for the DevFund, or directly paying any of the bills for the infrastructure that supports Qortal. Any and all contributions to these subscriptions are greatly appreciated.

CHD also pledges to support the supporters by giving random hardware, stickers, and other Qortal related components to the subscribers (if they wish to provide their shipping information) based on the length of time, and amount they subscribe for. This way it doesn’t have to be a complete ‘donation only’, but a way to get random gifts from CHD as well, based on your time subscribed, and amount paid overall.

NOTE – THE PRICES ARE IN USD, BUT THE PAYMENT SYSTEM SHOULD AUTO-CONVERT FROM MULTIPLE OTHER WORLDWIDE CURRENCIES. The system is setup to accept basically all of them, so it should work for anyone worldwide.

Shipping address is not required for the subscription, as they are VIRTUAL. However, if you would like to be included in the ‘random CHD gifts’ being sent to people based on their contributions to the subscriptions, you will need to add an address in your crowetic.com account.

(Single ((one-time)) donations are also available now, click the button below, add to cart, then follow instructions on cart page.)

If you would like to do a larger subscription amount, and/or any other type of donation (donation of hardware, donation of purchases to assist, etc…) please reach out!

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to assist the project!
